Smash on the piano keys
Smash on the piano keys
Scream out the lyrics
Closed eyes and listening up
Take in all of the bad and good
Give and take the bitterness
Lay it down in every note
Wash everything down in the crescendo
Play as though the world were silent
Desperate for a single sound
Feel the sweat glistening down
The audience of no one cheers on
Music echoes through the setting
Frustration is released into beauty
Become one with the rhythm
The world is no longer around in this space
Smash on the piano keys
Until everything is out
Cry in relief and in pain
Music is an old friend
Make a new song filled with thoughts
Or play a heartfelt tune
Love is an unobtainable feat for me. I quite enjoy the stories but I know what is reality and what is fiction. Romance is not something to be earned but something given by the graces of God. I have made my contract with God. In order for everyone I truly love to be happy, I shall happily step aside. I will suffer but they will smile. Isn't that what love truly is for a person such as I?

Searching For A Way Back
Thunder crashed. A woman screamed. The rain was pouring down so hard she could barely see where she was going. She was dressed in all black and running as best she could trough the maze of the forrest. Her clothes were torn and the bundled up baby she was holding was crying. She looked back, scared for her child's life more than her own. It was getting dark and she was tired. She couldn't keep this up for much longer. She came to a small opening in the trees. With one final look behind her to check that all was safe, she sets down the baby near a bush, and tries to hide it. "Don't you worry, sweetie, I'll come right

The Dragon King Chapter One
~~PROLOGUE~~
The sky was dark. It had started to rain. People began to leave to find shelter from the coming storm. There was heartbreak in the air. Everyone could feel it. The few who were left looked down at the freshly covered grave. A loved one had moved on.
A woman in long black robes mumbled a few words before turning to follow the rest of the crowd back toward the center of the small town in which they lived. She was particularly troubled; the recently deceased had been her brother.
Slowly the rest of the people departed, until only one was left. A small boy, also dressed in black. A poor boy who had just lost his father. He held a

May The Beloved Tomorrow Burn
Please let the passage of time slow down
I don't care how long it prolongs my daily torment
Even if their words sink deeper into my skin like six hundred, sixty-six knives
It matters not
Because all I need to see is you
I'll put on a strong face
Reinforce the facades I let the "world" see and define as me
Whatever it takes to support you, I'll do it
I never wanted to hide my true feelings from you
You were never supposed to be classified with the rest of the "world"
We were supposed to be together, against the judgment of this world's occupants
But we've fallen into a situation,
That I can't endure succumbed to every fl
The door flew open. Asheny ran through. She was looking frantically for Iary. "Where is he?" she yelled at a young man who was cleaning the tables. The young man shrugged and continued cleaning. The next set of double doors was a few yards away. She burst through them. Iary was sitting in the corner of the Brightpond Ballroom. "Where is she?" Asheny asked, placing a gentle hand on Iary's shoulder, letting him know she was there. "She left." Iary replied quietly. "She couldn't have. Wait, where did she go?" Asheny said, directing a gentle smile to Iary that made him look up. "I don't know. She just left. I think she went to Mel Creek, but I'm
Chapter 1
Asheny and Iary were walking across the Mormead Bridge. The pine trees surrounding them seemed endlessly high. They were both silent. All Asheny could see was her breath in the frostbitten air. That, and her despondent friend. Iary stopped at the head of the bridge. A tear ran down his cheek as he walked. Asheny was still walking ahead. She stopped for a moment and looked behind her.
"Do you think," Iary said, "do you think Essathay left because of me?" He knelt down on the wood planks. The sudden creaking noise made Asheny jolt.
"Not a chance." Asheny replied. She regretted lying to him because obviously, Essathay had le

Our World's Closure
Cam and Derrick Harrinson were playing catch with an old torn baseball on their front steps. The sky was an odd shade of purple mixed with orange. The lamp post on the other side of the road flickered until it dimmed out. The wind blew through their hair. It felt as though someone was blowing air on them.
Derrick carelessly threw the ball to Cam. It hit him in the stomach.
"Watch where you're throwing that!" Cam said. With all of his strength, he threw the ball at Derrick's right leg. Derrick began to cry. "Grow up!" Cam said to Derrick. He picked up the ball and began tossing it in the air.
After about two minu
